To promote and disseminate the latest agricultural technology, the “ATMA Program” has been launched in all districts. In addition to the Agriculture Department, other departments related to farmers, such as Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Agricultural/Horticultural Universities, are also collaborators in this program.
Under this program, farmer groups, self-help groups, and farmer organizations have been formed at the block level. Every year, work plans for all districts are prepared under this scheme, and funds are made available to implement these plans.
At the block level, Farmer Advisory Committees are constituted. To increase competition among progressive farmers and enhance production, awards are given to outstanding farmers at various levels. For the year 2025-26, a budget provision of ₹17.29 crore has been made under this scheme.
