Agri-Horticulture is a land-use system that integrates tree planting, crop production, and animal husbandry in a manner that is scientifically highly suitable.

To improve productivity, employment, income, and livelihoods of rural families, especially small farmers, the Government of India has launched the “Agri-Horticulture” program to promote and expand tree planting in a complementary and integrated manner with crops and livestock.

For the year 2025-26, a budget provision of ₹1.55 crore has been made under this scheme. Under this component, the Government of India has so far released ₹0.57 crore.
