HIM UNNATI YOJANA

For the overall development of agriculture in the state, the current government has launched a new initiative called the Him Krishi Yojana. Under this scheme, agricultural and related activities will be implemented phase-wise on a cluster basis to ensure a sustainable increase in farmers’ incomes. A total of 2,600 clusters will be identified under this scheme, of which 1,200 clusters will be implemented by the Agriculture Department, 1,100 clusters under Natural Farming, and 300 clusters by the JICA project across the state.

In 2024-25, a budget provision of ₹15 crore was made, of which ₹1.35 crore was spent. In the current financial year 2025-26, a budget of ₹20 crore has been allocated for various activities under this scheme, and the department has already identified the proposed clusters in all districts of the state.
