Under this scheme, check dams and ponds will be constructed at suitable locations in the state. The water collected in these structures can be used by farmers for irrigation through individual small lift irrigation schemes or flow irrigation schemes, as required. For the implementation of community small water harvesting schemes under the plan, 100% of the expenditure will be borne by the government. A budget of ₹1.00 crore has been allocated for this scheme in the year 2025-26.
