The Government of India has launched a new scheme in the state from the financial year 2022-23 for the implementation of the National e-Governance Plan – Agriculture. Under this scheme, an amount of ₹3.3 crore was released in 2022-23, which was fully spent by 31.03.2025.

This scheme is being implemented in the state in accordance with the revised guidelines of the National e-Governance Plan – Agriculture, with technical support from the Department of Digital Technologies and Governance and Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC). For the year 2025-26, a budget provision of ₹25.16 lakh has been made under this scheme. So far, the Government of India has released ₹11.32 lakh under this component.
