Under this scheme, farmers in the state are being provided with newly developed tools, modern machinery, and gender-friendly equipment.
As per the guidelines approved by the Government of India, agricultural machinery/equipment such as tractors, power tillers, power weeders, crop reapers, rotavators, etc. are made available to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, small and marginal, and women farmers at a 50% subsidy, and to other farmers at a 40% subsidy.
In addition, under the scheme, Equipment Facility Centers are also being established. Farmers who are unable to purchase these heavy machines can avail services on rent from nearby equipment centers.
For the year 2025-26, a budget provision of ₹11.70 crore has been made for this scheme.
